I really like the Durango R/T
That just looks simply menacing. And it probably goes like hell with the 5.7 Hemi.
And it has three rows of seats; something the Grand Cherokee doesn't have.

It's menacing and even with the third row seats, big brother Cherokee has it beat in, looks, driving and every other department

The Durangos are essentially stretched Grand Cherokees.

Well yeah, but it still has that extra room over the GC.

Damn right. Actually, I looked it up... the GC's interior cargo space is only marginally larger than that of a Subaru Forester's... The GC is a good 8" longer in length.

Except price...
And size...
And looks for me at least..
How does the GC drive better, they're essentially the same thing!

That's a bit depressing.

Yeah it is... tis what put me off about the GC. Fine vehicle but the interior space should be bigger for the size of the vehicle.

Well i can't say but I'm hoping it does. How do their MPGs compare?
![]() 05/18/2014 at 13:17 |

The Durango gets 23 MPG highway with the 5.7
The Grand Cherokee gets 22 MPG highway with the 5.7

Needs an SRT version, or a Hellcat version with the bigger-than-a-crx supercharger.

I said this yesterday on Truch Yeah! but the R/T has the best sounding stock 5.7 Hemi. Far better than the Charger/Challenger and Ram.

I actually really like those too, only I prefer them in luxury Citadel form.
I would love to see an SRT version, as PS9 mentioned, because the R/T is still slower than an Ecoboost Ford Flex. It does make a much better noise than the Flex, though.

That's saying something because all three of those already sounds amazing stock.

I'd like the Citadel more if it didn't have that weird chrome trim running around the bottom of it.
How much slower is it than the Flex? It can't be that drastic.

A little more than half a second. Not insane, but noticeable.
